Classic Soraka is an attrition engine: Starcall shreds MR in extended trades while her heals erase enemy poke math entirely. Infuse is dual-purpose — silence the enemy engage or battery your mana-hungry carry. Play far enough back that only your heals interact with the fight, and treat your global ult as the map-wide veto on every dive, gank and tower-dive the enemy attempts anywhere. Sustain lanes hard-lose to kill lanes at level 2; survive that window and your lane simply stops being loseable.
