Kassadin is the scaling boogeyman of League Classic — the reason mids ban him in spirit. Your lane is damage control: farm with Q shields absorbing trades, take Barrier or Cleanse, and reach 6 alive. Every Riftwalk level after that shrinks the map. At two items you dictate every skirmish: jump in, silence the enemy carry, dump your combo, jump out. By 40 minutes you can triple-Riftwalk across a teamfight deleting a target per cooldown. Trade the early game for the entire late game; it's a good deal.
